When Robert Lee Care Center approached us about building them a new website back in late 2011, they had been operating without a website since the Center was built in 1971. They asked us to design and build a site that would provide information about the facility, act as a community information portal, and enable the Center to enhance communications with families and the general public. They also had an outdated logo and no color palette for the brand.
After completing our discovery process and strategic planning process, we redesigned their logo and developed a more modern visual identity for the Center using an updated color palette and typography. We took a pragmatic approach and designed their site with families in mind by adding features and functions families can use to stay in touch with the Center and their loved ones who live there.
There are two calendars on the site, a tool that helps families coordinate care, an application that allows families to send messages to their loved ones who reside at the facility, and a blog that gives the Center an opportunity to publish Center news, and helpful articles, as well as have a two-way dialog with families via blog comments.
Robert Lee Care Center now has a sophisticated online presence that allows them to communicate with their audience very effectively across any device with a clean, modern look and feel and functionality built for the millennium.
